More about Giza

There are three main Pyramids here, which were built in the 4th Dynasty (circa 4650 B.C). The Pyramids of Ancient Egypt were built as tombs for Kings (and Queens), and it was the exclusive privilege to have a Pyramid tomb. However, this tradition only applied in the Old and Middle Kingdoms. Today there are more than 115 Pyramids in Egypt; the most famous ones are those at Giza.

More about Karnak Discover Karnak

This great Temple of Amon Ra was known during the Middle Kingdom period as Ipt-Swt, which means the Selected Spot. It was also called Pr-Imn, which means the House of Amon. The name Al-Karnak in Arabic was derived from Karnak, which means fortified village, probably because the Arabs found many Temples and buildings in the area when they entered it for first time.

More about Luxor Discover Luxor

Located in Upper Egypt Luxor has been described as the world’s biggest open air museum. Nowadays it has been elevated to the status of Governorate, though it is still classified as being in the province of Qena. It has a population of round about 230,000, most of who are employed in tourism somehow, though there are many who are employed in agriculture and commerce. It is one of the most popular destinations in Egypt, being one of those places that you must see. Because of this almost every tourist company has an office somewhere in the town.

More about Sakkara Discover Sakkara

Sakkara is one of the most extensive archaeological sites in Egypt, it was the cemetery for Memphis the capital of ancient Egypt. Yet again it is one of the very virgin archaeological sites. despite the fact that we found so many monuments in Sakkara .

Amazing 'Nile Pearl' TourMy wife and I did the 'Nile Pearl' tour with Sameh and his team, this trip was a once in a life time trip and it was absolutely perfect.Sameh and his team bent over backwards to make sure the trip was perfect, they were flexible and managed to work with our difficult trip plans.Sameh's knowledge of Egypt's history is mind blowing and it is delivered with such charisma. Sameh answered every question I threw at him (and I throw curly questions) and he was always up for a laugh. After a hard day of sightseeing cooling down with a cold beer was perfect, some nights Sameh would socialise with us, others he left us to do our own thing, it was like travelling with another friend. We stayed at amazing 5 star hotels, ate beautiful food and honestly had a trip of a lifetime. You would not regret using Egypt Eye Tour for your trip!

I can’t begin to describe how incredible this trip was. Yes the sites and weather were spectacular but Sam gave it something extra. He made the trip what it was with his knowledge, humour, approachable nature and brilliant teaching skills. I absorbed so much and had so much fun all because of him. Highly recommend!!
