We spent the first two days in Cairo visiting museums and… read more of course the pyramids before flying to Luxor. I must note something very important, we were met by their airport representatives in Cairo, Luxor and Aswan, which made traveling through the airport(s) seamless!! We were handled like VIPs in the airport, no problems at all! In Cairo, our guide "Mo" (Mostafa) showered us with his knowledge as we took various tours with him. We met another guide, "Safi" in Luxor who traveled with us down the Nile. We experienced some minor issues on the ship that Safi went above and beyond to correct. Between Luxor and Aswan we visited several temples in which Abu Simbel was the most magnificent to us. The transportation provided were in clean air condition vans with excellent drivers. It was also enjoyable riding in a felucca on the Nile. There’s too many good points about this trip to mention.
