The whole… read more day was filled with fun and was extremely informative. The mosque of Ibn Tulun was really beautiful, as was Saint Simon cave church, garbage city, city of the dead and then of course some shopping time at khan el-khalili.
The transport was also really great a/c transport, which was very welcome in the Cairo heat. Would recommend this 5 star experience to every one looking for something different than the usual tourist spots.

Our group of 6 were treated to the Nile Dream tour and had an unparalleled journey back through time, guided along the way by our passionate, friendly and knowledgeable Egyptologists who really knew how to bring stories of ancient Egypt to life. Some of the most memorable events were the unscripted ones where Sam listened to our particular interests and adapted accordingly, whether it be a traditional breakfast with the locals, Egyptian pancakes at the market (I can not recommend these highly enough), or the optional (should be mandatory) meal in the Nubian village where we feasted in the company of our welcoming host in such a basically beautiful setting. (So much better than the big restaurants). We Flew to Luxor and drove to Aswan to see the Valley of the Kings, Luxor Temple, Karnak Temple, and Abu Simbel!
The highlight of the trip was an overnight stay on a Felucca! (A sail boat the sails down the Nile.) From sleeping on the Nile to eating in a Nubian village, we did it all!
Sam made us all feel safe, with taking all the worry out of planning this trip of a lifetime.

Although we usually don’t go on organized trips (we prefer solo) I wanted to get the best out of our short time in Egypt and booked with Egypt Eye Tour. Sameh was amazing from start to finish. Easy to contact via Mail and WhatsApp before the trip, very swift, flexible and kind in his replies.

He picked us up from the airport late at night and being an (extremely skilled) Egyptologist he gave us the best tour we could ask for of the piramids of Zoser and the ones in Giza. On our last day he brought us to the Egyptian Museum in Caïro, the Khan El Khalili souq and the Coptic Hanging Church. He also took us to local restaurants to try out local cuisine. Our days with him were well organized, informative and fun.

From Luxor to Aswan we went on a Nile Cruise with George as our guide. We saw lots of amazing temples in Luxor, Edfu, Kom Ombo, Aswan and Abu Simbel. George is a very skilled guide and always ready to help. He also loves a good joke.
