In addition to sharing his wealth of knowledge about ancient and modern Egypt, he gave us great recommendations for “extras,” without being pushy, and helped us learn to navigate the idiosyncrasies of being a tourist in Cairo—like how to cross the street. (So much better than the big restaurants). We Flew to Luxor and drove to Aswan to see the Valley of the Kings, Luxor Temple, Karnak Temple, and Abu Simbel! The highlight of the trip was an overnight stay on a Felucca! (A sail boat the sails down the Nile.) From sleeping on the Nile to eating in a Nubian village, we did it all! We Got A very Nice lunch, and We Got 2 ekstra visits NOT charged .
went to visit a place where they made papyrus, ond A place with oils.
