I must note something very important, we were met by their airport representatives in Cairo, Luxor and Aswan, which made traveling through the airport(s) seamless!! We were handled like VIPs in the airport, no problems at all! In Cairo, our guide "Mo" (Mostafa) showered us with his knowledge as we took various tours with him. We met another guide, "Safi" in Luxor who traveled with us down the Nile. We experienced some minor issues on the ship that Safi went above and beyond to correct. Between Luxor and Aswan we visited several temples in which Abu Simbel was the most magnificent to us. The transportation provided were in clean air condition vans with excellent drivers. It was also enjoyable riding in a felucca on the Nile. There’s too many good points about this trip to mention.
I will say if you are looking to come to Egypt for the first time, Egypt Eye Tour will take care of all your travel needs. Many thanks to everyone at Egypt Eye Tour that made our trip memorable!

  Sam took us to all the major attractions. Being an Egyptologist, he knew his history and shared it with us. Visiting the pyramids, Sphinx, and temples were just… read more a small portion of what we accomplished in our short 2 week stay. We also visited many local shops and ate at the local restaurants. (So much better than the big restaurants). We Flew to Luxor and drove to Aswan to see the Valley of the Kings, Luxor Temple, Karnak Temple, and Abu Simbel!
The highlight of the trip was an overnight stay on a Felucca! (A sail boat the sails down the Nile.) From sleeping on the Nile to eating in a Nubian village, we did it all!
Sam made us all feel safe, with taking all the worry out of planning this trip of a lifetime.

Following a recommendation of a trusted fried, we hired… read more an extremely experienced Egyptologist / Guide, Mr. Sameh “Sam” Makram, who is employed by “Egypt Eye Tour” who was also occasionally assisted by his right hand Guide Bisho Sabit. Sam was very easy to communicate with via Whats APP because he is extremely reliable, punctual, considerate of time zones and his English language is better than mine. What a true pleasure to be escorted VIP style by Sam, who has ample knowledge of customs and true love for his land and his people. He did everything for us. He created our tour program, bought the tickets and escorted us around Giza Great Pyramids, Saqqara Pyramid of Djoser, Egypt Museum & every other place we wanted. He was courteous, funny and extremely knowledgeable of history, archeology and paleontology. He answered all of our questions and sometimes drove around a couple of times through areas I really wanted to see. He took photos of us and recommended best restaurants and shops. “Egypt Eye Tour” company is absolutely lucky to have such high quality employees. Between Sam & Bisho, five star treatment, an unforgettable experience, a most beautiful gift to ourselves!!!! Spend the money! So very worth it!!!

  What can I say? Sunday-Saturday, what an amazing experience. Sam made this trip extremely special for my (now) fiance and I. We started out in Cairo, then headed down to… read more Aswan by flight, drove down south to Abu-Simbel and then up north to Luxor. We concluded our trip by flying back to Cairo, taking a day trip to Alexandria, then soaking in all the local sights of Cairo on the last day. It was a whirlwhind, but so well managed by Sam. He structured it with the right amount of historical knowledge (without being overwhelming) and cultural/food experiences. He went above and beyond by helping me plan out my proposal, which we ended up doing on a sunset camel ride to the Pyramids of Giza — how cool is that?! He had great relationships no matter where we headed in Egypt and was always able to accommodate any need or small pivot to the plans we proposed (change of hotels, adding in a hot air balloon ride, setting up a boat ride along the Nile to a Nubian village, etc). I cannot recommend Sam/Egypt Eye Tours highly enough, I’ve already told everyone I’ve talked to the trip about, that I know who their tour guide should be, should they plan a trip to Egypt!
