  Sam took us to all the major attractions. Being an Egyptologist, he knew his history and shared it with us. Visiting the pyramids, Sphinx, and temples were just… read more a small portion of what we accomplished in our short 2 week stay. We also visited many local shops and ate at the local restaurants. (So much better than the big restaurants). We Flew to Luxor and drove to Aswan to see the Valley of the Kings, Luxor Temple, Karnak Temple, and Abu Simbel! The highlight of the trip was an overnight stay on a Felucca! (A sail boat the sails down the Nile.) From sleeping on the Nile to eating in a Nubian village, we did it all! Sam made us all feel safe, with taking all the worry out of planning this trip of a lifetime. …
